Mark as long as it is not a rubbery plastic I have used several different methods to repair plastic. Super Glue Gel, a 2 part epoxy called The Plastic Welding System and even JB Weld. I always back up the repair with Evergreen sheet styrene plastic for strength. The Evergreen is what I have in stock for building plastic model cars. I have not tried the plastic welding systems so I can't say how they work. The methods I have mentioned I have used on my recent Hornet interior job. I have never found anything that works to repair the rubbery type of plastic. I use ordinary auto body filler and glazing putty to smooth things out.
