[AMC-List] plastics repair

OK, I'm hoping someone with good knowledge reads this. I need to put a piece into the gauge surround of the American. I have pieces I cut out of it and need to fill a crescent hole the billet panel won't cover.
  What I'm wondering is what is best to glue or weld the piece in with and if needed what filler to use to smooth things over. It's a white plastic and is not chalking or brittle, still flexes well for it's age. 
   I have it finished with faux granite paint now and will likely use that finish again, so perfection will not be necessary. I just need it be fairly smooth and not fall apart.
