afaik you can just replace the stub o/d tailshaft etc with an
open-drive setup - or alternatively you could go the other way, if you
were lucky enough to find a rare t14+o/d or t15+o/d setup and wanted a
full-synchro tranny. i was once told a t14+o/d was exactly the same
length as a non-o/d t96 - and silly me, i passed on it.

tranny and the t15 fits.
