Jesse, Sure sounds like a bearing problem to me. The oil is thick when it is cold taking up more of the clearance in the bearing. Once it heats up and thins out your clearance increases and your oil pressure decreases. Does the oil pressue go up a bit when you increase the RPMs? To: mail@xxxxxxxxxxxx SO, the freshly rebuilt 401 has great oil pressure when it's started, and when it's got some RPM going. Once warmed up and at idle it has Zero pressure. The only thing this fellow did not do himself was the cam bearings and that was my first thought. He swapped the timing cover with a known good engine timing cover with the same result, so it's not the pump or cover. Any other ideas? Do well, Jesse
