I have a slight problem with my bottom pulley. The bottom crankshaft pulley/harmonic balancer wobbles when the engine is cold. However, when I reach down and grab hold of it to see if it is loose, it won't budge. It only wobbles when the engine is started and is running at low RPM's. When the engine is at a higher idle and warmed up, it stops wabbling and evens itself out, so to speak. Is there something wrong with my harmonic balancer? Someone told me that there is a seal behind the harmonic balancer that probably went bad. Does anyone have any advice along this line? The car runs fine with it like this - I only drive a mile to work and back every day. I would love some input from all of you before I take off the pulley and start looking for things.
