Do Jeep Wagoneer Tachs fit the Hornet/Gremlin dash?

 I was looking thru the local Richmond yard this weekend, and noticed, 
maybe for the first time, that the older Jeep Wagoneers had the round gauges, 
and one had the Tach....hmm. Does this unit fit the Gremlin or Hornet 
instrument housing? Has anyone every tried it? If they do, they'd be a great 
source of original tachs, as I see lots of wagoneers in the junkyard 
frequently, but almost no Gremlins or Hornets, with or w/o Tachs. And I'd 
love to retrofit my Hornet and other Gremlins with the tachs. Comments?
