New to group

I just recently joined the group. AMC purists beware though my Gremmy is not
AMC powered it is powered by the "other" smallblock (which powers about 80%
of everything built). I like the car and it is big stupid fun with its solid
roller cam (.638" lift), aluminum headed, steel cranked, forged rod and
pistoned motor. Like most of the posts I read this morning I like the looks
I get when idling, cruising, or just parked (the Flowmasters sure do get you
noticed, or maybe it is the cam, or just the tire smoke...).

A little about me. I have always been a Ford guy, probably always will be
partial to them, but I do appreciate the time and effort people put into all
makes and models of cars (except the import craze, not so sure on those
yet). Give me a stout big block or small block and it is hard to get the
grin off my face no matter the make. I do tend to lean towards oddball cars,
Gremlins, Pintos, Vegas, etc. About the only make I have not yet owned is a
Chrysler, but I do not have $5000 to buy a "project" vehicle.

The next thing to do on the Gremmy will probably be an overdrive tranny...
Like I said the car is stupid fun (read: fast) but another gear and 4.11
gears and then.... Does it end?

I have to go now, I am going to look at a Gremlin *parts* car!!
