Gold Gremlin ready for cruisin' now...carb fix finished.

I went out yesterday, late afternoon, and finally replaced the make-shift
linkage stud made out of a piece of furniture hardware with the correct
speed-shop 1/4 " ball stud. I intend to drive the '74 to work today on
Sunday. Drove it around a little after the repair, it does fine. So, looks
like a Jeep carb WILL work with a little upgrading for the AMC passenger car.
:D Just in case anyone can't find a real passenger car carb and needs an
alternative.
Haven't done anything on the other Gremlins ( other than put tarps over
them a few weeks ago when Th' Bliz hit ), I'm into the English/Poison Ivy
Wars now, trying to get my flower border area cleared before spring. What
with working 6 to 7 day weeks this month, VERY little time to do so! I did
some last night as the light faded to dark, got some more ivy uprooted.
Doubt I'll do much Gremlin-wise this month, it's gonna be a hectic time
with work overloading us with the Canadian end-of-year shipping effort. Ah,
well, April is JUST around the corner ( or page on the calendar ), so I'll be
planning on hitting those Gremlins pretty soon. Now that I"m making mo'
money, and getting scads of OT, I will probably buy some rebuilt or new carbs
for the Gremlins, and quit messin' with those used jobbers. Tired of it!
>:\ So, that's all for now, gonna go cruise Goldy to work and back. AMC ya,

Jerry in Virginia
