I have had the same problem with my mirror. I took it apart and took a small
piece of lead solder and flattened it out so that it was somewhat thin. I
layed it in the concave clamp like part of the mirror bracket and tightened
the screws back down it seemed to work well for me. Give it a try. Hope this
