Picked up a $100 258 motor AND a Clifford 4-bbl manifold last night...

 I got a good deal on this, the guy had a '78 motor out of a jeep, and my 
friend John wanted that, and I wanted the manifold for one of my Gremlins ( 
eventually ), so I went and got it last night. Turns out the manifold was off 
the engine, and the engine had the complete stock system in place, too! My 
friend John got a good deal, if the 120k, motor is in decent shape, all for 
$50. :) We had it unloaded in a few minutes by sliding it down some 4x4 
landscaping lumber. Didn't even hurt the carb! I may also go back, this guy 
has two CJ-7 frames, one with 6 motor, one with an automatic GM trans that 
had a 304 in front of it...now in HIS good jeep! He said if I wanted them ( 
the frames ) I could have them. The ex-304 Jeep has a REALLY rusty body, so 
I'm going to rebody it ( with my '76 project Gremlin! ). I think. Anyway, 
I'll have to clear out some room in the driveway for them, if I do get them. 
Both have some rust issues with the frames, but not anything that isn't 
repairable. :) I hope. Anyway, off to work, then go help a girl with a '81 
Concord with high-idle problems. Later,
