Gremlin X offered to me , in W.Va area...hmm.

Guy emailed me, got my SN from a fellow club member...seems he has a '75
X with 250,000 miles on it! yeah, a quarter million. You heard right. He said
the body was ok, some dings and such, no major rust. I saw his pics he sent,
the car is silver with blue accents...he said he had been offered money at
one time by Dallas Cowboy fans for it! LOL! Anyway, it has a 232 and a
3-speed OD tranny, not running currently, needs brakes and ? to get it going.
He is the original owner, has the dealer window sticker somewhere, and the
option sheet from under the seat. Has AM radio, nice wheels, sport steering
wheel, etc. no A/C though. Sounds like it might make a decent project. But
beaver DAM it, I don't NEED another one! He's asking $500 for it. I'm going
to mull it over, I don't have an X model yet. :) I'd have to get rid of
that '76 project car FAST. sigh. decisions, decisions. OH well.
I spent the evening working / puttering in the garage. Got my battery
charger/ Alternator tester gizmo design in the works, hooking an AC electric
motor up to a car alternator via belt drive, so I can quick-charge my
batteries as I don't own a "normal" battery charger yet, and it can be used ,
I hope, to test alts as well, when I get the brackets set up right. Did some
bench clean up, so I'd have room. and even THREW some stuff out! What a
concept! Although, to be fair, my favorite auction is starting tomorrow
night, so I need to make some more room for possible acquisitions. LOL. Well,
off to bed, I need to get to work early so I can leave early to make the
auction on time. See ya later, folks!
