Question: Why, specifically, '80-'83 Eagles? Wouldn't the '84-'88 Eagles

Sorry, my book only goes up to '83, so I can't reference any higher than 
that. I'm using old reference books that don't cover all years. They're 
probably the same.

aftermarket supplier number of replacement windshields...here's his excerpt 
from the Email he sent me...

..."NAGS is the aftermarket glass numbering system used by most every auto 
glass
shop in the US. If you were to order a new windshield (or any auto glass)
these days, the NAGS number is the one you want to refer to. The AM part
numbers wouldn't do any good for anyone other than Chrysler/Jeep dealers,
and I really doubt they still carry those numbers.

"NAGS numbers are usually cheaper, but that doesn't mean lesser-quality
glass--in most cases you'll end up with a reputable name, such as PPG, LOF,
Guardian, or Carlite (in some cases, the exact same name as your original
windshield). There is an INCREDIBLE markup on the price of automotive glass.
In many cases the lowest price you the consumer would pay is double, triple,
or even quadruple what the glass cost the seller."
