V8 engine brackets have been reproduced and are offered by several vendors
( not sure which at this moment but I have seen them advertised )

I am a V-8 gremlin owner, I say go for a stroker 6 make sure that you put
EFI on it. you could put a V-8 in your car but then you would have to find a
V-8 crossmember, I understand that the V-8 block brackets are very difficult
to find.
