I'm not sure where the video was from. In Ontario Canada the cars get crushed and the individuals go to jail.

They had big problem with imports street racing in Toronto area. They raced anywhere anytime. Busy streets during rush hour were not a deterial.

Unfortunately the whole province suffers.

I'm fortunate to be close to Detroit n not far from Flint where the street racing is going strong.

One Detroit incident that happened a few years back actually has been on Americas Most Wanted 3 times that I've seen.

Every time i see that it makes me mad... there were plenty of good parts left on those vehicles.
I'm not a "tuner" guy, but that is where hot rodding is headed, the world is running out of "typical" hot rods and muscle cars and tho those cars were involved in illegal street racing, they should at least have been parted out, or even re-purposed as police cars. not just plain crushed. I think our feelings might have been different if those were Gremlin X's or Javelins and any other muscle cars.
