[BaadAssGremlins] re: amc the black spiderman

Venom (I guess that is Troy was mentioning down below with the guy who commented about 
black spiderman who probably brought his bong to car show and crossed Troy's path) first 
appeared in 1980s.

Unless he was talking about the black spiderman, the uh, other one with almost identical 
Spiderman costume except black costume perhaps. If I was at the Sierra Vista car show and 
someone told me that I would have offered to buy them a smoked turkey leg or bag of 
Cheetos as they probably really had the munchies about then.

Interesting that bongboy mentioned that all three "Ford Chevy & Dodge (not Mopar) are red 
spidermen as Spiderman does have about as many different costumes as Lady Gaga.

Anti hot rod? AMC used to plug itself as 'a sensible alternative' and 'if you had to 
compete with Ford, GM & Chrysler what would you do' and did a great job with it with 
memorable ads.

My question to him would have been simply 'are you a judge?' as if so you could have filed 
formal compalint about a judge being bias. It happens when a say, Mopar friendly judge 
lets emotion cloud judging when supposed to be impartial. And it can have a decimating 
effect on any future car show(s) that organization might have if car owners think it is 
simply rigged for all 350 Chevys. I could tell you a number of stories about cars shows in 
and around (mixed make) Houston this destroyed any attendance they had when word spread 
afterwards about bias judging.

And then again, who knows, this fellow sprouting off about different colored spidermen 
might have a one hitter built into dash of his 66 Nova, sort of like Wayne & Garth had a 
soda dispenser built in dash of their Wayne's World Pacer!

I went to the Sierra Vista Car show yesterday with my 71 AMC Javelin. I did not win, which 
I am ok with since there were some very high dollar cars there. A guy comes along and 
explained why I did not win a trophy. I had to post this because I am pretty sure he was 
on something and it was just too funny not to pass along.

He explained that Chevy, Ford, and Dodge are like the RED spiderman, and AMC is like the 
BLACK spiderman. He says the majority of people like the red spiderman, and dislike the 
black spiderman, hence I did not win, and AMC is the anti hotrod. Dude, lay off the dope 
for a little while will ya.........
