Read the description, these are painted header NOT coated, Hooker used to paint their header silver before they went to black. Perhaps that why they sold higher than retail, people just looked at the pics, and assumed that they were coated. Buyer beware.

Ed, Sorry but if ur gonna call folks stupid YOU should know what your talkin about. Your not comparing the same items. The jegs headers you refer to are uncoated. I paid 640 for mine 5 years ago and I belive they are about 800 now. I think the ebay price was a very good deal.

I am into radio's and you see that all the time. A radio will sale for say $500 new and people will bid on used ones and they will sale for $600. I figure it is one of two reasons. One they have no idea what something is worth when they bid on it or two they get caught up in the auction. I have never bid more than what I could have brought an item new for but I have found myself praying at times that someone will out bid me on an item because I bid more than I wanted to pay for an item.
