Ken, from my own experiences here in Houston thru the years, that is, when there were AMCs 
in junkyards here, many times the cowl areas would break when the car was lifted up, and 
unceremounously dumped, back down on ground, especially if it still had engine in it, I 
would guess physics takes over perhaps, not really sure, but used to come across them 
split in firewall, cowl, and windshield area. Usually fork lifts to blame.

There looks to be a number of good, salvagable vehicles at this place.
