Re: [BaadAssGremlins] Pep Boys vs O'Riley's

Since my lay-off last February, I'm now employed at an O'Reilly's in Southeast Texas.  YES, they are a publicly traded company.

I own Pep Boy Stock (PBY) and they are not owned by O'Riley's.  O'Riley's is privately held, I beleive so no stock traded on any of the exchanges.

FYI Autozone stock Symbol AZO - currently trading at $143.00 a share
NAPA is also privately held and not traded

I didnt realize that bhad Pep Boys too.
Out here in Calif. we had Grand Auto, who did repairs and tire as well as parts.  CSK (kragen-checker- schucks) bought em out and closed the shop/tire dept.  They hire folks with no auto knowledge or interest - just another low paying retail job selling the cheapest sourced products.  About the only alternative is NAPA and they are struggling.
