If any of you have Dollar Tree stores in your area, go look thru the toys section as here in Houston they are loaded with Motor Max 1:64th scale (Hot Wheels/Matchbox size) Gremlins, Pacers and Matador coupes....and only $1 each. Not bad, as I believe I mentioned this on here recently so if I am repeating myself it is combination of 100+ degree heat, age, stupidity. I may add the Pacers are in some odd colors I never saw on regular production cars. These were same ones for sale at Wal Mart, among other places months ago for $2.50 to $3.50 each.

 Thursday, my wife found a cardboard stand-up display, red and black, in the aisles at the Giant foods grocery store near her work ( in Virginia, USA), she said they had 7 or 8 of the blue Nash dragster Metrorail, around $3. This morning, I stopped at the one near my work,and they are putting up Sale signs on the toys, Larry's are now $2.24 each. What a deal! I've had little luck at the normal outlets like Toys R Us and Wal-mart finding them, but with this going on, they're easier to find. And cheaper, too! Just thought I'd give a diecast " heads up " to you other hunters out there. Get'em while you can! Not your usual area to search, but I got 4 this morning, and left some there.
