[BaadAssGremlins] Jim Landis Spirit in Ozark mountain super shifters race

I went to Havana Illinois to the 1/8th mile drags Sunday. They had the "Ozark Mountain Super Shifters" there to watch. The class is ALL maunal trannies!! Anywhere from 5 seconds to ? DAMN. Nothing like the manuals to watch!! Seen them many times over the years. BUT..This time Jim Landis had his lime green Spirit there!! It is STREET LEGAL and DRIVEN. It ran 6.04! Don't remember the mph right now...dammit! Did that WITH a huge wheelie when he launched!! Barry Allen AMC power..NO GM power here! Some guys in the stands said...nice looking AMC.....gotta be Chevy powered! I told them that  i knew Jim and it was AMC powered and street legal/driven.They about shit!! It was a blast. I had to leave before it ended..but Jim was still in it when i left. There were either 4 or six cars left when i left. All the other Ozark class cars were tube chassis full on drag machines. NICE  but..Jim's IS street legal and driven!! Later, Joe
