Hey everyone, looking at the Group 15 Accessories book it shows that some of the esterior 
driver side remote and not remote and passenger side non remote mirrors interchange with 
several models. This is the OVAL HEAD type I am asking about. So you have listed like
Chrome 74 for 10-70-80 which means this driver side chrome type will fit Matador (10 
Series) Javelin & AMX (70 Series) and Ambassador (80 Series) but not Hornet (01 Series) or 
Gremlin (40 Series) for instance. The part number is 8993050. However inside the neck is 
different casting #.

My question is this: On the Gremlin/Hornet driver side mirror.....how long is the cable? I 
know that Javelin and AMX 70-74 have 'long' cable while Ambassador/Matador/Rebel generally 
have 'short' cable. Does anyone have a Gremlin/Hornet driver (or passenger) exterior OVAL 
HEAD mirror they can measure the driver cable and also give me the part number stamped 
inside the neck? Thanks,
