Ron, usually when the starter wants to keep starting like that it is a
voltage regulator and/or solenoid problem, you might want to replace both and
most times this will cure it.

Received my issue in the mail and missed the 1/4 pg pix
inset on the cover! These were nice sort of single purpose machines
which I won't be able to achieve financially. I just became
the owner of the '75 Gremlin recently in ebay. Need to seal up a
gas tank now and get the starter to disengage after turn on of the
ignition!
New carpets on the way along with a jeep 2 bbl manifold
and a used holley/weber...got to go back to hot rod swap meets again to
get away from eBay. Long Beach here we come.. and Houston;
we have problems . I'll make a list of my needs .....Ron

it looks like my moms old work area. Used to Love
walking thru that building. Had a huge grand
staircase going from the front lobby to the 2'nd floor.
Fancy elevators from there up. (they didn't go far
) American Motors Credit Union financed both my first
car and my first motorcycle.
