Several years ago i had a very nice 74-76(seperate filler neck) tank cleaned/sump welded in for my 73 Gremlin. I just went to look it over and realized..DUH. ..that my 72 and 73 have the filler welded into the tank!! Any helpful
advise greatly appreciated! ! Anyone have a spare seperate filler neck? Thanks alot,Joe

The 74-76? tank that i had boiled/sealed/ sumped a few years ago has NO filler neck/has a grommet/rubber seal where a filler fits into the tank? Did i now make that as clear as mud now? Thanks,Joe
>NOW i'm getting lost??? In my 67-72 Parts manual there are NO photos of any 40 series car gastank????? Hmmmmmm...!! In my 73-76 parts manual it shows that they all have the stub filler on the tank? Soooo WHAT year tank did i get a few years ago from the guy out west??? Possibly a 77-78 Gremlin?? The tank has NO filler attached. Has a grommet where a filler enters the tank? Wish i had already sen the difference before having my new tank boiled/sump welded
in/sealed!! CRAP!
