Davis the prob I had was the old springs were out of some small ford or something as well the perches too. they were TIIINY compared to the AMC 6 banger ones which are in it now. I now have the correct AMC perches and springs and will put in some Comp. engineering 90/10 shocks As for paint right now its gonna get hit with some DP90 primer/sealer I need to save some coinage for a nice paint job I want which will Be Both style RWB with metalflake.

I never understood why so many folks have so much trouble with ground clearance on the Gremlin. But with the soft 6 cyl springs I guess it could be an issue. I never had a problem. I have tons of clearance on my 72 I drive it all over and not a single scrape. Everything is new on teh front end though. I even got the v-8 with AC heavy duty coils. That helps alot.
