HI. I was told recently by and older gentleman AMC'er that has been a body man for 50+ years to use vaseline on the rubbers to install Gremlin 1/4 glass easily. He said it will not damage the paint and also helps the seals soften some.Start at the bottom and slowly work your way up to the top. Hope this helps? Joe
