I remember seeing one on ebay --New old stock, I thing-- went for six or seven hundred. I'd sure be interested in a nice used one at about $300 or so. Eddie sold one on ebay not too long ago, but it was pretty well broken up, and I don't remember what it went for anyway. 
I remember buying a new one in the early seventies for about $30. But back then gas was about 35 cents and I had what I thought was a really good paying job at about $6000/year.
