Very sorry for your loss Lu.  My dad is 86 and a WWII, Vietnam and 
Korean Veteran.  I dread the day I lose him.  My mom passed on when I 
was 6 so I am blessed that I've had him all these years.  He was 41 
when I was born.  It is awesome that you took your dad out in the 
Grem.  You do have to cherish as much time as you can get with them. 
Remember the good times and smile when you think about him.
