[BaadAssGremlins] T-5 TRANS question

For you guys familiar with the T-5 WC 5 Spd conversion
process....  I'm talking to a local Ft Worth
guy/business that rebuilds and sells T-5.  He's had
some T-5's on ebay but sells direct.  He's asking me
the following question so I thought I'd double check
with the group:  

"Per our previous conversation below, you are wanting
the 300 ft/lb T5 with the shorter "fox body" style
input shaft as opposed to the longer 94/95 input,
correct?"

Shorter FOX BODY?  Is that another name for the
84/85-93 vintage T-5 that is supposed to bolt right in
with minimal adjustments?  I've read all the previous
documentation provided by members of this group but
don't recall the term "fox body".

Thoughts...guidance?
