Terry, there have been whole shows and meets cancelled. It affects everyone whether you drive to/from a meet, or trailer your show or drag car, $4 gas and $5 diesel can take out a whole lot of things. Attendance at even swap meets I have been to here in Texas is not only down in vendors, but attendance, and those that come seem to only walk around and not like a few years ago with folks with dollys and wheelbarrows of stuff they had bought.

I was at a show last night and won a top 25 plaque. That was pretty nice but there wasn't about 40 cars there. Last year at this show there were 140 cars there. I might have ask this before but has the attendance went down at the cars shows where you guys live. The guys running the show were saying the attendance was down every where but they thought the fact gas broke the $4.00 a gallon mark last week really hurt. Might be true it is $4.15 for regular. This is the first show I have been to that has had such a big drop. Think about it though I have only been going to one a week and staying closer to home myself. What have you seen.
