Thats ok with me I have owned more AMXs than Gremlins . You can check cam lobes by removing valve covers and coil wire and have someone turn engine while you watch rockerarms movment they should all have the same amount of lift as engine turns over, if not its new cam time! Cam oiler if properly installed should not bleed oil from lifters.Have you zero lashed lifters? I have ran a lot of different cams and am not sure I like the specs. on your cam.It seems a lot of lift for the amount of duration. The old AMC 478/304 cam was sweet for its time .Only cam close to your cam was a General Kenitics 288 dur.-512 lift that was the worst disapointment I ever tried. A set of 1970 4 barrel pistons or aftermarket 9.5 or 10 - 1s would really help! I will stop with the advice for now -Good Luck ,Rick --- On Mon, 4/14/08, Eddie Stakes <eddiestakes@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: From: Eddie Stakes <eddiestakes@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> |
