Re: [BaadAssGremlins] '74 Gremlin Door and Hood adjustment

Thats what I thought but when I sent my nephew to autozone and advance auto they told that no such thing existed.Must of been some of those younger guys or maybe they were just too busy to look.I knew the last time I looked they were available.Good tip on the GM bushings. The local shop tried to tell him they would have to be made at a machine shop. Come on, these bushings are in the 'do-it' section at any Auto-zone or Advance Auto parts.  Hey, Doc, pipe in here with your 'bushing repair tip'. Didn't you use some oversize GM bushings?  'Themix2'

There has been a set on ebay for a while now but they are pricey. That is the only source I have found.Otherwise have them made at a machine shop.Rick

Thanks Todd!

Can you recommend anyplace to find those bushings?

I’m having a hard time finding good parts sources.

Thanks!

There's also a good chance that the door has worn bushings. Replacing the
bushings should true it up a bunch, then do your final adjustment as Davis
described.
