That is a great idea if the bell on the Porsche block is the same it would be a really cool setup. But then you would have to build a better tranny, better drive shaft, better rear end to handle the better HP and torque. Davis The 944 is a Trans axle design - think AMC torque tube from a Bell housing cover plate back to fixed Trans axle rear. Guesstimate would say use the AudiGrem bell & Turbo 944 clutch-pp-flywheel with a '91 Cobra stick & you're good to go. Audi has had different con fig cars over the years - RWD - FWD - 4WD - so perhaps other Audi bells would work as well. The 944 Turbo motor is well known - getting an adapter to run virtually any Bell wouldn't be a stretch. You can't get 6mos. of Starguts Coffee for $400.00 - snag that car & Smith 'em a Wesson.
