Chances are they might not have ever opened the hood. There are a lot of people who think a V6 is a straight 6 I assure you! Most is just ignorance however from people not familiar with engines or AMC, but as you mentioned the paper even said that Mustang had both! Having BOTH V6 AND straight six in same car reminds me of a cartoon me and brother used to bet on as kids who would win the race! http://www.hotink.com/wacky/ Eddie Stakes' Planet Houston AMX 713.464.8825 eddiestakes@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx www.planethoustonamx.com email reply currently 5-9 days 8-19 day reply times, just call! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ed Veneck" <edveneck@xxxxxxxxx> To: <BaadAssGremlins@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, March 09, 2008 8:50 PM Subject: [BaadAssGremlins] 232 straight V6 engine????? > > There a Hornet on e-bay > http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1975-AMC-Hornet-for-SELL_W0QQitemZ130203623187QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item130203623187 > > that the seller state that it has a 232 straight V6 > engine.
