As with most things plastic and 30+ yeasr old, the padded dash strip on my 72 Gremlin is cracked and seemingly not repairable.....seemingly. Useable replacements are few and far between. The plastic is brittle with age and several screw towers (the tower that the screw goes into) is cracked or broken completely off. Has anyone successfully 'repaired' theirs so that it can be reused? Is it possible to do an effective job? I may end up going the GremCord or ConLin route by replacing the dash entirely with something from a much later vintage. Your thoughts or insight would be most appreciated! Thanks. Bill Dallas, TX '72 Gremlin (gutted and still ready for paint) '72 Olds Custom Cruiser Wagon '71 Mark III '70 Cadillac Convertible Yahoo!
