Hal next time I will just 
keep my mouth shut and let 
my wife get screwed over 
since she is to stupid to 
realize I am still looking 
after her lke I have done 
for the last 38 years. AMC 
content I had my first 
mechanical failure on my 
orange Hornet. The plastic 
tabs holding the 
windshield washer tank to 
the fender well broke off. 
What would you expect from 
34 yar old plastic. My 
wife who says I am a junk 
collector said where are 
you going to find one. I 
just went to my AMC parts 
closet and took one off 
the shelf. I NEVER throw 
anything AMC away. 
Unfortunately while 
sifting through the small 
toll box I keep in the 
orange car I sliced open a 
finger on a razor blade I 
did not see real bad while 
looking for a socket to 
swap out the pump. Being 
the old scool mechanic 
instead of going to the 
hospital for stitches I 
taped it up with masking 
tape and now 4 days later 
it is doing just fine 
after being cleaned and 
disinfected every day.
