I was going to get the vanity plate   GR8PMKN

 

 

Mine is Sun Orange - looks like a CALTRANS truck!

I tried for that plate but it was taken (calif.) but I was able to get

GRMLN78 which should get here soon. 

 

Question for the group...  ALL the online and brick-n-morter stores

have the wrong lift struts listed for 77/78 Gremlins.  What they have is for the

Sririt/Eagle hatchbacks (sx4) which are gas-charged with a ball mount and not the spring strut with a bolt.

Anyone know where they have replacements since like a fool I tossed my o;d ones after ordering "replacements".  I can adapt them but am afraid they are too stiff for the glass.
