[BaadAssGremlins] Re: Rear End

The best way to get the engine built would be to find an engine shop and talk to them tell
them what your wanting and they should be able to help you figure everything out, if they
cant then its the wrong engine shop.

as for a rear end a
-9" out of a bronco (not bronco II) would work. '62-70 is 1 inch shorter
-8.8 out of a bronco II also would work but you have to flip the spring perches
-also mopar 8 3/4 out of big bodied cars would work. look for a 472, or 489 casting on
the hog head. as they are beefier than the 471. this will bolt right in with about a half inch
leaf spring spread.
-and a ford 8.8 out a Lincoln Versalles would work width wise though i believe new spring
perches would need to be welded on. this set up would give you disc brakes as well.
-80's mustangs and thunderbirds i was told would work as well but you may have to work
with the spring perches as well.

Im doing the mopar 8 3/4 and it is fairly expensive. i would probably go with a 9" or 8.8
as you can find parts a little easier.
