[BaadAssGremlins] Re: 73 Stripes

Yep that is pretty minor. No doubt. Did you realize that the 73 models vary so much that 
there are some that have the Gremlin man on the inside of the doors and others without? 
Furthermore, some '73 Gremlins have the paddle type interior handles and others have the 
bar type? How about the fact that the rear hatch might have two cylinders or one? My 
point being that the Gremlin(along with all other AMCs really) did not have definite rules 
with regards to their construction. If they ran out of a part, it was not unusual for them to 
just grab a part from another model and slap it on there. REALLY! This is not a Rolls Royce. 
I like being a stickler for details too but that is just a little overboard in my opinion. I like 
the fact that the guy at least made an attempt to make the car look as original as possible. 
How many Gremlins on this group even look original at all? That was an original X model 
and he striped it as such. I have seen regular Gremlins being sold on eBay with X stripes 
that were not even an X with bench seats and a standard steering wheel. Now that should 
not be done. At least in my opinion.
