I looked it up on autozones site.It looks like that is the same gasket that is used on all 232 and 258's from at least 1972 to 1978. I would guess all 6's of that same family would use the same gasket. They listed MS3707 for their $15.00 one but listed MS9982 the same number as BOB came up for their $10.00. You have to order from them too. They don't stock it. I guess there are not many people changing gaskets on their AMC 6 bangers.

  Charlie, That is strange that
the local stores are having a problem
with that gasket set. It is a very common set used on amc and Jeeps.
Most all store chains also should be using the same manufacturer part
number also, meaning that if you come in with the following numbers,
they should have it listed and available locally. The numbers I came up
with real quick were, MS15510 about $15.00(better quality set I think)
MS5510 about $10.00 and try MS9982. I am also pretty sure that it does
not make any differance if it is one barrel or two barrel for these
gasket sets, as the carb mounting area is the only difference. See what
those numbers do at the local store. Bob in MN.
Thanks Bob! I did not think it should have been a big deal either, but then I'm not a mechanic. Apparently my supplier has a "bad book". He looked the number up and ordered it, but it was the wrong part - but right number. Now, I think they are just to
damn lazy to do the research.
