Charlie, Using the car trailer is really the safest way. Good Luck.  Gary

Thanks (and to Gary and Terry as well)!
I called U-Haul and found out I could rent a car trailer for the day for $54! My V 8 magnum Durango will pull that sucker no problem. So, it's off to Harrisburg I go on Thursday morning. No dolly, no pulling drive shafts. Remember guys, I'm a social worker, not a mechanic! I'm still learning (though I am sure I could pull a drive shaft). :-)

Make sure you lie about what car you are towing.
I do not think U-haul dollys are allowed to haul pacers.
Call a uhaul depot you are not planning on using to find out guidelines.
Show up in a large truck  and tell them you are hauling a Ford escort or something.

Based on my Experience.
