I may add that this is a NEW twist on old scam! The
asshole nigerians got into ebay, then torpedoed Jeff's auction below. Some of
you in the SE US know Jeff, good old school AMCer in Atlanta. So the scammers
ended Jeff's auction by hitting the "buy It Now" then proceeded to
give Jeff a line of shit everyone on here shuold be long familiar with by
now if you ever have placed a ad with anything for sale in the past 10 years. So
read below. I may add Jeff sent this to me...I contacted Ebay, they shut down
the asshole's ficticious account, and also their regular email, so they got
kicked off ebay and lost all their 'marks' as chances are they probably tried
this on a number of people at once.
Ebay relisted Jeff's car and it is back up, no
fees, just sort of a pain in the ass however on a sort of reverse scam! So
always keep guard up. And if you come across some asshole on ebay selling a AMC
anyhting you think it is scam, quickly spread the word here, I got $99 million
dollars to buy stuff you know, I had my "buying limit" increased on ebay so I
like to torpedo scammers auctions!
