Terry gas tank capacity meant squat during the so called gas shortage in
74 because the gas stations were only selling 3  gallons at a time at
what ever their rip off prices were back then. Also this so called gas
73-74 shortage was not a spur of the moment thing. As a non-commercial
seller with a 5000 gallon tank for our gas powered trucks where I worked
we were told by Shell we would be cut off completely after 30+ years for
no reason but purely for profit some where else 1 year prior to the so
called shortage .
