[BaadAssGremlins] Seat Replacement

I'm restoring my '72 Gremlin but not necessarily limiting my efforts to 100% stock.  I'm interested in replacing the standard front bench seat with something a bit more comfortable and substantive. 

 

Has anyone replaced their front seat with a non AMC split bench type seat with arm rest?  I have a 95 Buick LeSabre with a split front bench seat and have been comtemplating doing somthing simlar.

 

Anyone have any prior experience with that?  What customization would be involved?  Anything out there that will bolt right in?
