 
Terry if you patch it temporarily again it is only going to give you a
problem again when you want to use the car for a show or a cruise night.
Fix it right. Don't waste your time and money on one of those gas tank
rust remover sealer kits either. Have a professional repair it properly.
I tried one of those sealer kits on my yellow Hornet 5 years ago and it
was a waste of time, even with the pain I am about following the
instructions to the letter. Luckily the larger 21-22 gallon tank used in
Eagle sedans and wagons is still available new and fit with only minor
mods. I also recently put one in the Orange Hornet also. I don't know if
Spirit or SX-4 tanks would fit or if they are available new but it is
worth looking into.
