Re: [BaadAssGremlins] Re: 77 Hornet AMX door/parts

Ok now I know what spring you need. I had the same problem with my
yellow 74. The lock button would not stay up with the spring broken. I
never could find replacements so I saved the latches when I parted ot
some cars. I have complete extra latch mechanisms but with 2 cars I am
not parting with any of them. There is a left and a right also on the
latch and spring. Kennedy American has pin's and bushing's for the
hinges.

Thanks Doc!

I am working on the door latch and assembly, since that is shot, thus the inquiry regarding entire doors.  The hole in the hinge does not appear too badly worn.  Replacement pins/bushings are cheap?  Are these available anywhere as NOS or do I look to purchase a "parts" car with the hinges in good shape (if such a creature exists).
