All of this talk of oil filters reminds me of when we owned two 1954 Chevys neither of which had an oil filter. Of course back then you changed your oil every 1,000 miles and you used straight weight non-detergent oil. Have no idea what this has to do with anything but I thought I would throw it out.Terry
