If you are loosing that much oil you also have bad bearings in the carrier. I would suggest you find a non-chain auto parts store as the seal and bearings are almost over the counter parts here in N.Y. or from numerous AMC venders and the crush sleeve is available from the Jeep people. Did all the carrier bearings and seals and axel bearings and seals in my yellow car 2 years ago. I have a 1975 Gremlin it is leaking oil from the rearend and I need a
seal very badly,I am loosing a quart of oil a day. I live in the St.
Louis area. Can anyone give me some idea where I can find one. The
