I have been told all I need is a fitting, some oil and some new freon and there would be a good chance my A/C would work. If you didn't need it to run the alternator I would give a try but I am half way scared too. If the compressor would lock up I don't see any easy way to run a belt to the alternator. Never thought much about it before since all I do is drive to parking lots. Would be nice having it for the ride to and from Dayton. Think I should try it or leave well enough alone for now. Right now my plans are leaving at 4 in the morning to beat the heat and the traffic and spend some time in the air force museum Thursday. I think a couple of guys on here are going when are you going up.Terry.
Sneak preview the all-new Yahoo.com. It's not radically different. Just radically better.
