Yes we are lucky to have a state sponsored technical school here that teaches all aspects of automobile building and repair. They have even landed a contract with the new Hyundai plant. The plant sends them brand new whole cars right off the assembly line and the school kids tear it apart and put it back together. Each time Hyundai has a new design model, a new car appears at the school. Of course, they have priority over any other project. The collision instructor told me that if I supplied all paint & supplies, it will only cost me 20% over that for labor. Not a bad deal! ~Lu~ --- In BaadAssGremlins@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, <twa1950@...> wrote: > > That is great Lu. I wish I could do that with mine. I would be more and glad to hand it over to them in September and pick it up in June. It would have been possible around here years ago. Each school had it own shop. Now all our schools specialize in something. We only have one school that does automotive. They won't touch individuals cars. They buy one in the fall and rebuild the whole thing and raffle it off in the spring. It is usually a Mustang or something. > Terry ------------------------ Yahoo!
