Same here Charlie. I been working on mine for 2 1/2 years. Being
disabled I don't travel to far. The Ardsley show is the only AMC show
close enough for me to attend, it's only 5 miles up the road from me.
There are 3 local cruise nights within 5 miles of where I live each week
but so far all have been rained out. This has been one miserable spring
and a start of the summer so far. I better not hear any crap about a
drought this year from the local gov. Unfortunately I have a feeling
being stuck in the house today is going to be hell I am already hearing
it from the wife about car parts in the house and it is barely 8am.

Ain't this weather a real bummer? I worked on this car for two years so that I could take it to cruises and shows. thus far there have been three that I was to attend. All three were a wash!

day too. The following sunday's rain date may be rained out at this

stuck in the house I am slowly hand painting the individual grill ribs.
After 7 hours over the last 3 days I have 1/4 of them done. Seeing the
final results finally coming together all I can say is it was worth the
work. It should be finished and clear coated by the end of next week.
Since the gill is out I will install an auxiliary trans cooler and an
auxiliary electric cooling fan in front of the A/C condenser and an
aluminum radiator over flow bottle to replace the cheap plastic after
market on in the car. Being stuck in the house I can also cut the dark
smoke American Motors letters for the windshield tinting job.
